This is a quick note to say thank you for the exceptional service you have given us over the past week.  Both our cars have been in for work.  I wanted to thank you for your friendly, helpful manner, for the time you've given us and for your attention to the small details that make all the difference... speaking to our children, caring that we have walked to the garage in cold weather, providing reassurance about my car when the problem over the petrol smell could not be found ... etc ...  I could go on.  THANK YOU.
